Our Story

Price Hill Eagle Original LocationEagle Savings Bank was formed on the west side of Cincinnati in east Price Hill in 1882. The original name was The Price Hill Eagle Loan and Building Company No. 1, and was located at Enright Avenue near Warsaw Avenue, where the Price Hill Post Office stands today. Eagle holds the distinction of being the oldest savings bank in the State of Ohio.

Like many banks in the early years, banking hours and services were very limited. Eagle’s mission was very simple in the beginning, to promote personal savings and home ownership. Today, Eagle Savings Bank has over $100 million in total assets and offers it’s customers a vast array of modern products and services. This includes on-line banking, hundreds of ATM locations, checking and savings products, along with personal and business loan products to meet most borrowers’ needs.

The bank built its landmark main building in 1924 at 3650 Warsaw Avenue next to St. Lawrence church. This was a very busy intersection with activity most hours of the day. This highly visible location, along with a commitment for strong community involvement with all those associated with the bank, made the institution a very important part of the community.  You will see that very same focus today. The main office is located in a new and modern 12,000 square foot retail center located at 6415 Bridgetown Road. Eagle remains active in the community and has had the pleasure of serving many families for generations.
